As we prepare for upcoming negotiations, we want every member’s voice to be heard. Your input will determine the bargaining principles we bring to the table regarding wages, benefits, working conditions, and improvements to the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).  All responses are confidential and for internal union use only.

UNION AND PTI REACH AGREEMENT ON COMPENSATION FOR PERSONAL PHONE USE

We are pleased to advise you that effective April 1, 2026, drivers shall receive a reimbursement for cell phone use.

Over-the-road drivers (OTR), will receive a reimbursement .50¢ per trip for use of their personal cell phone for personal use.

Scheduled Shift Drivers (DYV, MPV and Shuttle) shall receive reimbursement of .25¢ per shift for use of personal phone for personal use.

We are pleased that this matter has been addressed and we will seek additional enhancements to these payments in the upcoming negotiations.
